Domenaic Practice - Lesson I

A whole class in a single phrase:

Aîedara yu da, Angodi utili. --- Anywhere you are, English is necessary.

* angodi (from ango "English" + gentilic suffix -di) = the English language.
* utili (portuguese útil "usable") = to be necessary, to be needful
* yu (from English you) = you (in a respectful way), you (single), thou
* da (from Russian da) = yes

This phrase "Our world here" is issiba (French ici bas "here in this world").
 
Aîedara (Yorùbá aîe "the earthy realm" + indefinitive suffix -dara "where, by where") means "Where ... in the world" and is incomplete (requests a person or thing term to be complete).
 
There is also the bashoni word (Japanese bashō "place" + locative suffix -ni), and it means "on the place", being more generic and requesting complements.

Note we use the verb to be in our translation. There is no verb "to be" in Domenaic. Therefore, many forms and expressions are used to express the many conotations present in the "to be" verb -- even the use of the adverb da "yes"at the phrase end (or in front of a specific term).
